Gottiline pitbulls were originally founded and bred in California. The foundation dogs that produced today's lines of gottiline dogs were Juan Gotty, 21 Blackjack, and GOTTILINE'S BLACK ACE who is also Blackjack's littermate and offspring of COLDEN BLUE RHINO and Colden Felony. The two main producing kennels of these lines of dogs today, are Ed Shephard's kennel (Also known as Dax line) and Roger from West Coast Gottiline. Gottiline pit bulls are considered American Bullies / American Bully dogs. They have an excellent temperament and would be a great additional to a home that already has small dogs, other breeds of dogs, or even children. 

As with all breeds of dogs the right socialization is recommended starting a young age. This would include puppy training classes, trips to the dog park, visiting neighborhood dog's (With the permission of the neighbors), obedience training classes with other dogs, or a mixture of all of these methods.
