History of Juan Gotty and Gottiline Pitbulls

Juan Gotty is the foundation dog of Gottiline Pit bulls.
Gottiline pitbulls also known as Gottyline, are a line of dogs that were bred in the 90's. Juan Gotty produced over 1,000 american pit bull terriers through out his breeding career. His owner (Richard Barajas) has straws for breeding stored to this day.
Richard Barajas started breeding these dogs along with other greyline dogs to produce his line. The bloodline is one of the most famous bully pit bull bloodlines today. These dogs can be found in every state and in every country in the world. One of the key characteristics of a gottiline dog would be some of the following:

  • Large block shaped heads
  • Low compact build
  • Muscular chests
  • Wide stance
The temperament of these dogs is very playful. They are not bred to be aggressive towards dogs or people. The game bred pit bulls have a much different temperament than the american bully dogs.
